The Hong Kong Film Gala Presentation, presented by the Asian Film Awards Academy, with the financial support of Create Hong Kong and Film Development Fund, is a grand program that showcases the exceptional talents of Hong Kong's filmmakers to diverse audiences across different regions. Our mission is to establish strong relations and bring together film professionals from ASEAN acountries and Hong Kong for an in-depth discussion of the art of cinema. Since 2021, we've brought our spectacular events to international cities such as Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Jakarta, showcasing the boundless creativity and unparalleled diversity of Hong Kong films.

「香港電影巡禮」由亚洲电影大奖学院主办，创意香港及电影发展基金资助，致力推动电影和文化交流，展现香港电影业的魅力及优秀的电影人才，让各个地区的观众继续探索新世代的香港电影，以推动香港电影业的持续发展。「香港電影巡禮」举行期间，将提供平台让各地的电影业界与香港电影人共建更紧密的合作关系，并汇集来自亚洲地区的电影专业人士与香港电影人深度讨论。自2021年起，亚洲电影大奖学院已在新加坡、吉隆坡及雅加达等多个国际城市举行活动，让观众一同感受香港电影的感动、创造力及多元性。

The Asian Film Awards Academy, a non-profit organization, was founded by Busan, Hong Kong and Tokyo International Film Festivals with the shared goal of celebrating excellence in Asian cinema. Aiming to promote and recognize Asian films and its talents, AFAA highlights, strengthens and develops Asian film industry through the annual Asian Film Awards and several year-round initiatives.

Our year-round events and programmes are held with the objectives to promote Asian films to a wider audience, expand the film market within Asia, and build and sustain connections among Hong Kong and international film professional. Masterclass Series – in conversation with filmmakers, Journey to the fest – Student Visit to International Film Festivals, Asian Cinerama – Film Roadshow, and Young Film Professionals Programme – overseas training and workplacement, are examples of our year-round programmes. These programmes couldn’t have held successfully without the financial support of Create Hong Kong and Film Development Fund of the HKSAR Government. AFAA has worked to promote, educate, inform and develop knowledge, skills and interest in Asian cinema among the industry, students and audiences in Asia and beyond with the support of film festivals and cultural organizations.

亚洲电影大奖学院是由釜山、香港及东京国际电影节共同创立的非牟利机构，旨在对国际展现优秀的亚洲电影作品。学院借著举办一年一度的亚洲电影大奖及全年多元化的各类活动，从而突显、加強及建立越趋蓬勃的亚洲电影业及其多变的电影文化。

自2015年起，学院推出一系列的推广及交流活动，包括大师班系列、学生电影节观摩团、电影专才训练计划及亚洲电影巡迴放映。在世界各大电影节及文化伙伴的大力支持下，成功向亚洲及世界的电影工作者、学生团体及广罗大众等，介绍亚洲电影工业及文化，並促进区內电影业的互动和发展。

Set up in 1995, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Singapore seeks to strengthen the bilateral relations between Hong Kong and three countries of ASEAN, namely Laos, Singapore and Vietnam, as well as India. We aim to promote closer economic and trade ties, understanding and co-operation, as well as to enhance cultural exchanges and people-to-people ties with the four countries under our purview. On the investment front, we provide information, support and assistance to corporations and individuals looking to start or expand their businesses in Hong Kong or in Mainland China via Hong Kong. A dedicated team has been set up to attract strategic enterprises and talents from overseas to Hong Kong. The regional desk of the Hong Kong Shipping Registry in our office also helps strengthen the presence of Hong Kong Flag and promote the Hong Kong Shipping Register in the region.

On a night like any other, Ming, with his wife and mother-in-law, found a dead body at their doorstep. They are certain that their unit would turn into a "murder home" once news spread, nosediving the property value and turning them into miserable victims. Besides Ming's family , there live a retired elderly couple, a single lady and her maid, the Cheung's, and a chain smooking mysterious woman. This motley group of residents go to battle to wash the blame off their hands. However, before the day ends with nothing resolved, they come together to dispose of the corpse.

Inspired by a sensational 2013 family murder, Henry Cheung partnered up with his friend Angus Tong to murder and dismember his parents. In the courtroom, two veteran lawyers Wilson Ng and Carrie Yau were defending the pair pleading not guilty. The prosecutor Allen Chu suggests the murder was a calculated move for money. But the plot thickened when Ng and Yau began to present their case, and when Tong rebutted all accusations on his own. The truth becomes all the more elusive as the defendants played the role of ‘genius’ and ‘idiot’ in court. In the breakroom, discussions between the nine jury members spiraled into debates of right and wrong.

A 40-year-old high school teacher Yiu-kwok is caught in his midlife crisis, a marriage on the rocks, and a taboo teacher-student romance when his student Choy-lam doesn’t seem to hide her crush on him, while his wife Manching is off to care for her dying ex-lover, Mr Seng. The film poetically explores the trials and tribulations of middle adulthood, grieving over broken relationships, long-gone youth and lost dreams. While the film is quiet in tone, it’s a deeply affecting human drama that captures turbulent emotions.

25 years ago in the summer of 1997, 3 high school classmates Chit, Ana, and Raymond embarked on a joint journey, purchasing their first ever cell phones and making a pact. The trio exchanged texts and vowed to reunite in 2022 to open these messages. All three of them experience an unusual day on account of their modern day smartphones, and end up discovering a newfound meaning to their respective lives. They culminate in a reunion, revealing how technology complicated their lives and reshaped their destinies.

In the forgotten legend of Harry Odell, Hong Kong’s first impresario, a rediscovery of the city’s soul awaits. Odell was a Cairo-born, Shanghaibred Russian Jewish who stamped his mark on the cultural life of post-war Hong Kong. His hopeful, if chronically loss-making adventures pushed the cultural frontiers of his adopted home.

What began as a campaign to save the iconic State Theatre morphed into five years of research to find those who witnessed Odell in action. The result: a film that is a study of one indomitable pioneer, and a soul-searching journey of what defines Hong Kong.

《尚未完场》述说的是一个香港演艺场地发展的故事。一代娱乐大亨欧德礼是璇宫戏院 (后改为皇都戏院) 的创办人。他的演艺事业亏损惨重，却为香港文化开辟了新天地，被称为「香港文化史前人物」。在那个白天上映黄飞鸿和林黛电影的大戏院，晚上有名家如Isaac Stern、Fournier坐镇，华洋共处，雅俗共赏，只此一家。标志香港新时代的大会堂开幕，第一场演奏会正是由欧德礼承办。一九九七年皇都戏院结业，欧德礼的辉煌过去仿似正式落幕。然而，透过徐岱灵、祁凯达执导的纪录片，我们得以唤回那个时代的记忆。

The marriage of Jeannie and Simon begins out of love, but that was the beginning of many challenges to come. One day, Jeannie realises that her ideologies no longer align with those of Simon, and starts to feel ashamed of herself. Her life revolved around him, she lacked purpose. And so, she decides to leave him. Years later, Simon comes back to her after his business collapses. They reconcile, but Jeannie’s heart shivers at the thought of the marriage coming full circle. The movie “One Night in School” describes three groups of totally irrelevant people who accidentally encounter in an abandoned school one night. One group includes five beauties who go there for a livestreaming programme. Several people from a criminal gang are also in the school that night to carry out some revenge action. The last group comprises of two guys who have stolen and stored the dead body of a Singaporean rich man in the school. By taking care of their own matter at the same place at the same time, the three groups unintentionally intertwine and the adventure unfolds.
